Meeting
was called to order at 7 pm. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Robert Perigard,
President followed by a Moment of Silence for our departed neighbors and
victims & families of the tragedy in Orlando, Florida.
Officer
Matt Lemos reported 5 car vandalisms the previous
month, some windshields were smashed. One resident may have footage on
surveillance camera, also was a burglary on Piping Rock. Resident said they
called 911 and there was no response, Matt was not aware of any issues with 911
calls not being answered. Resident also asked if the patrolmen could do more
investigations into out of state plates, many, many
noticed in the neighborhood and at the area parks.
Alderwoman
Stephanie Cummings reported the tax rate went up about 2 mils this year. Board of Education meeting on 6/20 regarding expansion at Wendell
Cross. July 13th City Planning meeting regarding proposed
easement, residents are urged to attend and voice their opposition to the plan.
Secretary
report from previous meeting is online. Welcome to new neighbor Eric Perez on
Peach Orchard Road.

Church for EMNA banner at their festival.

Ptak reported the tree was taken down on 48 bumps, a
gate was installed at the park, and sprinklers are on at the park.

McGovern reported an email went to all residents regarding car vandalism, a
Mitsubishi car was on camera, same car seen next day, marker number was
reported to police department to investigate.

Planning meeting on 7/13 and voice opposition, signs will be posted at City
Hall for location.

Veterans Memorial Dinner was attended by almost 20 residents. All the flags are
up in the neighborhood. There is a sign-up sheet for newsletter. Please consider
signing up for hospitality, need at least 3 volunteers for each upcoming
meeting 2016-2017.

14th
Annual Harry Northrop Grant was presented to Drew Dasilva
by Beverly Guevin for $1,000.00. Drew plans to attend
Quinnipiac College in the fall pursuing doctorate in physical therapy.

President Bob Perigard thanked everyone for their support and co-operation over
the last four years and asked for continued support for his successor, Mike Stere. Vice President Dave Muccino thanked Bob for all his
work and accomplishments during his term.
